Job Summary
Initiate, schedule, and control day-to-day pharmacy operations while directing staff, managing drug purchasing, and overseeing inventory to ensure therapy continuity. Lead 340B Program operations, compliance, and optimization, including audit management and regulatory adherence. Supervise direct reports, coordinate with billing and finance teams for charge capture, and serve on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Manage drug diversion monitoring, participate in annual budgeting, and consult with medical staff on formulary alternatives. Cover all departmental duties in the Director's absence and oversee inspections across hospital departments and affiliated entities to support regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist
- graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- current state license
- Minimum of 5 years of operational pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with EPIC
- Familiarity with Omnicell
- Familiarity with 340B
- Familiarity with Medicare
- Familiarity with Medicaid
- BLS certification within 90 days of transfer or hire
