Job Summary
Lead design, standardization, and execution of onboarding and training programs across all pharmacy service lines, including inpatient, outpatient, specialty, and infusion settings. Establish consistent orientation frameworks, competencies, and learning pathways while delivering ongoing education initiatives to support clinical excellence and compliance. Oversee pharmacy residency programs, curriculum coordination, and preceptor development, driving continuing education strategy aligned with departmental goals. Partner with clinical leadership, informatics, and academic institutions to align education with evolving care models, system implementations, and workforce optimization needs. Ensure rapid integration of regulatory, accreditation, and best practice updates into training, monitor completion metrics, and implement corrective actions. Establish and assess internal controls within the unit to ensure alignment with University policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Completion of a PG1 and PGY2 Certification
- Active Pharmacist license in the State of Florida
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
- 340B certification
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 4 years of pharmacy practice experience in a health system setting
- Minimum of 2 years in higher education
