Job Summary
Animer les projets de demande d'autorisation pour l'extension ou l'ouverture de carrières en France, en pilotant les études environnementales, la séquence ERC et les concertations avec administrations et parties prenantes. Rédiger les cahiers des charges, coordonner les prestataires, et relecture critique des études techniques pluridisciplinaires. Assurer le suivi de l'instruction jusqu'à l'obtention des autorisations, gérer les recours contentieux, et participer aux consultations publiques. Veiller sur l'évolution des documents d'urbanisme et des réglementations environnementales (air, eau, biodiversité), préparer les argumentaires pour les commissions consultatives, et accompagner la mise en œuvre effective des engagements post-autorisation. Couvrir une vingtaine de sites en France avec un déplacement jusqu'à 50% du temps.
Required Qualifications
- Master 2 degree or engineering school diploma with specialization in environment, geology, agronomy, or environmental law
- 3 to 7 years of experience in an environmental consulting firm, study office, or industry (extractive preferred)
- Experience with environmental regulations and environmental operating permits
- Knowledge of ICPE norms and environmental law and urban planning law procedures
- Knowledge of environmental engineering techniques such as emission treatment in water or air
- Industrial site management experience
- Multiple project management experience

- High level of commitment and high standards regarding EHS issues
- Essential writing skills with attention to clarity and precision
- Ability to immerse quickly in complex contexts and grasp issues
- Ability to identify critical issues, prioritize them, and provide a proportionate response
- Teamwork ability and capacity to propose practical solutions based on regulatory and operational constraints
- Relational and mediation skills to adapt to diverse interlocutors (administrations, providers, elected officials)
- Motivated and engaged personality ready to autonomously take on and complete subjects
Desired Qualifications
- Specialization in mining or extractive industries
- Mastery of English in an international context
- Proficiency with digital tools (Google Suite, Office Pack)
- Familiarity with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS
- Appropriate use of AI tools
