Job Summary
Senior nursing leadership role overseeing perioperative services with responsibility for overall operational and clinical leadership in an inpatient setting. Leads strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and process standardization to ensure compliant, high-quality patient care aligned with Joint Commission and state requirements. Builds partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive initiatives, optimize workflows, and resolve complex operational issues. Demonstrates strong business acumen with budget development/management, regulatory compliance, and the ability to manage resources, inform policy, and mentor staff while maintaining patient safety and quality of care. Requires BSN (or higher), RN license in California, and 8 years of clinical nursing experience with 5 years in progressive nursing leadership; ACLS/BLS certifications are required; CNOR preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- BSN required
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- CNOR preferred
- 8 years of recent relevant experience
- 5 years of progressive nursing leadership role in a clinical health care setting
- 5 years of experience with survey protocols on department and organizational level (Joint Commission, State, etc.)
