Job Summary
The HR Manager will routinely recruit excellent staff, oversee onboarding, deliver training and coaching, mediate conflicts, perform administrative duties, conduct wage reviews, develop clear policies, generate concise reports, deliver engaging presentations, ensure workplace health and safety compliance, conduct investigations and disciplinary actions, maintain privacy, and lead a team of junior HR managers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent, experience in HR, strong relationship-building, coaching and staff development capabilities, proficiency in conflict resolution and investigations, familiarity with privacy laws, effective presentation skills, knowledge of health and safety regulations, computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a valid driving license with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent
- Experience in human resources or related field
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
- Experience in educating and coaching staff
- Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations
- Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy
- Ability to give presentations
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have a valid state driver’s license
- Must maintain a clean and insurable driving record throughout employment, as defined by company vehicle insurance standards
