Job Summary
Provide trusted advice to senior leadership on people, culture, and workplace matters. Lead recruitment, workforce planning, and retention initiatives while managing employee relations, performance management, and grievance resolution. Drive engagement and wellbeing programs, oversee Work Health and Safety systems including committee chairing, and manage payroll and HR reporting. Develop policies, coordinate learning programs, and lead a small People and Culture team. Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational improvement. Full-time position with a 36.25-hour week, flexible arrangements, and a salary package including 15% superannuation and professional development funds.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary level qualifications in Human Resources or Work Health and Safety
- significant experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience working in a People, Culture and Safety role or a similar senior advisory role
- High level interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
