Job Summary
Deliver end-to-end HR services from hire to retire, managing payroll, benefits, Workday maintenance, and talent acquisition while ensuring compliance. Drive local talent, learning, and development initiatives, support Employee Resource Groups, and lead organizational changes including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Exercise stakeholder management to coach leaders on change, engagement, and culture, and align people plans with finance objectives and headcount reporting. Manage local brokers and benefit providers to adhere to compensation standards, utilizing data insights to inform decisions and optimize operational efficiency. This role requires a minimum of four days per week in the Toronto office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 days per week in the office
- Sound experience of delivering HR services
- Business partnering experience
- High level of emotional intelligence and awareness
- Project management and delivery capabilities
- Experience of payroll management and transitioning payroll service providers
- Insight driven HR guru – highly analytical and can draw insight from data
- Keen eye for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Adept at developing talent
- Tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility to changing business needs
- Great communication, problem-solver skills
- Strong conflict management, negotiation and influencing skills
