Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day restaurant/bar operations in Saint Louis, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, supervising staff, planning and organizing work, enforcing policies, managing staffing actions, delivering customer service recovery, and contributing to menus, promotions, and local marketing programs. Responsibilities include training and certifying staff, monitoring guest feedback and financial results, maintaining inventory and equipment security, controlling costs, coordinating events, and supporting budget preparation and profitability objectives. Requires strong leadership, communication, budgeting, problem-solving, and operational oversight in a hospitality environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1-2 years restaurant management experience in a full service restaurant/nightclub or similar setting
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
