Job Summary
From the toughest sport on the dirt, comes St. Louis’ most stunning country bar. Manager responsibilities include ensuring service standards and regulatory compliance, supervising restaurant/outlet staff, planning and organizing work, enforcing policies, managing staffing actions, training and certifying staff, handling guest feedback and service recovery, contributing to marketing and menu development, monitoring performance through guest feedback and financial results, inventory control and cost management, coordinating events, and achieving revenue and profitability targets. Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of restaurant management experience; hospitality management degree or college preferred; fluent English; ability to work nights/weekends/holidays; physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds; and potential for nights/weekends/holidays. The role is based in Saint Louis, MO, USA, and is full-time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years restaurant management experience in a full service restaurant/nightclub or similar setting
- Hospitality Management Degree or some college preferred
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Must speak fluent English
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Reading and writing abilities for paperwork and management reports
- Budgeting and cost-control responsibilities
- Staff training and development
- Experience with inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Successful staff supervision and conflict resolution
