Job Summary
Interim Payroll Manager for a 250+ bed hospital overseeing the preparation, analysis, and reporting of payroll transactions related to timekeeping and absence management. Lead payroll operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing, reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls in line with regulatory, tax, audit, and GAAP requirements. Supervise and develop payroll staff through coaching, training, and performance management, while driving operational excellence via budget management, process improvement, workforce planning, performance monitoring, data analysis, and strategic initiatives. Epic EMR experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration, or related field
- 5 years of recent relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- EMR: Epic
