Job Summary
Lead field audits, staff training, and client implementation within the Client Fund Accounting National Operations team. Supervise Business Systems Analysts, field auditors, and an implementation manager by assigning work, monitoring quality, and developing staff through performance management and coaching. Oversee employer payroll audits, review findings, and communicate results to clients and stakeholders. Manage new client onboarding and system conversions, providing subject matter expertise and directing automation initiatives for contribution reporting. Develop and distribute training materials, maintain current SOPs, and identify process gaps to recommend operational improvements. Review and approve timecards, ensure accurate labor allocations, and resolve complex contribution and systems issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Five years of experience in accounting, finance, payroll auditing, or benefits administration
- Two years in a supervisory or management role
- Familiarity with third-party administrator operations
- Familiarity with Taft-Hartley provisions and implications
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Strong work ethic
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office tools and applications
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Ability and willingness to travel as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a third-party administrator, insurance, or health and welfare environment
- Prior experience in Taft-Hartley trust administration
- Experience with client implementation, system conversion, or process improvement initiatives
