Job Summary
Lead end-to-end oversight of financial transaction processing for 407 ETR, managing cash receipts, refunds, rejects, and banking transactions while ensuring accurate reconciliation and adherence to service levels. Direct the Customer Payment Solutions team to maintain workflow management, quality assurance, and internal controls across payment programs. Develop and execute payment strategy initiatives that enhance channel performance, reduce processing costs, and improve operational scalability. Analyze payment trends and cost drivers to identify efficiency opportunities while maintaining compliance with PCI-DSS, banking regulations, and audit requirements. Oversee banking operations, vendor relationships, and technology implementations to strengthen process efficiencies and support business transformation. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and executive dashboards to drive informed decision-making. Manage cross-functional initiatives with IT, Finance, and external vendors to modernize payment platforms and automate workflows.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in financial operations, banking, cash administration, payment operations, customer payment solutions, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment with accountability for service delivery, controls, and performance management
- Strong understanding of banking operations, cash management, payment processing, and financial reconciliations
- Knowledge of digital payment channels, payment gateways, merchant services, card payment networks, electronic payments, and banking platforms
- Experience leading business transformation, process improvement, and technology implementation initiatives
- Proven ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP, financial, customer management, and reporting systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Power BI is considered an asset
