Job Summary
Operate the Float Pool and After-Hours teams by overseeing recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, competency management, performance development, and retention of float pool staff. Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure staffing needs are met, optimize labor resources, and support high-quality patient outcomes across hospice, palliative care, and other service areas. Foster a collaborative environment through coaching, mentoring, and professional development while upholding organizational standards of care. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Minimum of five (4) years of clinical nursing experience in hospice, home health, hospital, palliative care, or related healthcare setting
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation with adequate automobile insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of progressive leadership or management experience
- Experience managing staffing operations, workforce deployment, scheduling, or float pool personnel
