Manager Patient Care (PCM)

Lead the achievement of hospital and departmental patient safety goals and ensure the environment of care is safe for patients, families, and staff through purposeful rounding. Coach team leaders with resources for effective patient care assignments and efficient patient flow while fostering collaboration between clinical staff and other departments. Manage department expenses and resource utilization to achieve budget and productivity goals, assisting with timely admissions, transfers, and discharges. Complete ongoing monitoring, data collection, and audits to ensure compliance and lead performance improvement initiatives that proactively identify risks. Hire, onboard, evaluate, train, and develop staff through career mapping and planning. This role supports the perioperative services team at Arkansas Children's Hospital, a Magnet Status institution dedicated to pediatric care.
