Job Summary
Leads parts logistics, inventory control, and supply chain optimization; manages a Parts Analyst team and oversees inventory planning, procurement, and distribution strategies; drives the implementation of a new inventory management system; collaborates with Operations, Engineering, and client-facing teams; develops production schedules, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans; ensures availability of parts to support production and minimizes costs through proactive sourcing and cycle counts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 6 years’ experience in a related field; alternative: master’s degree with 4 years, PhD with 1 year, or 10 years total experience
- 1+ year of experience in a management or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations: demand planning, inventory management, logistics, production planning, supplier management
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools; advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated experience in inventory control, compliance, and maintaining accurate inventory systems
- Proven ability to develop and manage dynamic demand forecasts, replenishment strategies, and production schedules
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
