Job Summary
Manager, Paratransit Contracts Management oversees the Paratransit contracts program, ensuring contractors meet service goals, adhere to policies, and maintain performance. Responsibilities include supervising contract development, bill preparation, negotiation, and day-to-day management of transportation and fuel contracts; monitoring contractor operations (training, DOT vehicle inspections, complaints, maintenance, and FTA Drug and Alcohol testing); ensuring vehicle/operator availability; managing accounts payable and interfacing with upper management; analyzing and reporting contract status from development to award; and assisting auditors. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight years of related experience, including at least three years in a managerial capacity; valid NY State driver's license; and knowledge of contract management, procurement, negotiations, project management, auditing, and billing procedures. Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, or related field
- Eight (8) years of full-time related experience
- At least three (3) years in a managerial/supervisory/administrative capacity
