Job Summary

Lead client engagements by owning day-to-day delivery, managing scopes and timelines, and presenting findings to provider executives and boards. Translate complex policy and reimbursement information into actionable recommendations while producing polished deliverables like strategic plans, financial models, and market assessments. Drive analysis by analyzing legislation, conducting rigorous market research, and synthesizing large healthcare datasets into strategic insights. Contribute to proposals, shape thought leadership through publications, and mentor junior team members. Ramp quickly onto new engagements with limited oversight to bring structure to ambiguous problems.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, government healthcare programs, corporate strategy, or healthcare provider/value-based care organizations, with demonstrated growth into engagement leadership
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare, with depth in one or more of the following: Traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage, value-based care, PACE, complex care, long-term care, or provider strategy/operations
  • Strong consulting craft, including structured problem-solving, hypothesis-driven analysis, polished written and visual communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with pace and rigor
  • Proven ability to perform market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, business case development, and strategic growth planning
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; comfortable working with data, developing models, and interpreting insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and present confidently to senior executives and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to lead tasks, design and execute projects end-to-end, manage up and down effectively, and mentor junior team members
  • High level of professional maturity, initiative, resourcefulness, and ownership; ability to come up quickly on unfamiliar topics; and willingness to pitch in and contribute meaningfully from the start

Desired Qualifications

  • Management consulting background at a top-tier firm with experience managing multiple concurrent client projects in a fast-paced environment or equivalent experience in government healthcare programs
  • Direct experience working for, with, or alongside healthcare providers (hospitals, physician groups, post-acute and long-term care, PACE, aging-services organizations) on strategic, operational, or value-based payment initiatives
  • Direct exposure to value-based care models, managed care operations, technology and solution partners/vendors, drug reimbursement and pricing policy, or financial services intersecting with healthcare
  • Experience working with large healthcare datasets, including cleaning, managing, and analyzing complex sources
  • Technology strategy, including business and technical requirements gathering, gap analysis, system selection, and implementation
  • MBA or other advanced degree in a business-oriented discipline (Management-focused MPH, MPA/MPP, MHA, MS in Health Administration, economics, or related field)
