Manager or Senior Manager, Financial Services Valuation

Job Summary
Manage and deliver valuation services for a range of financial assets and liabilities in the financial services sector (including loans, CRE loans, mortgages, C&I loans, auto loans, and other consumer-finance assets) and oversee scope, day-to-day activities, quality control, and risk. Lead and review cash-flow modeling for loan portfolios, translate complex data into valuation inputs, and support fair value measurements for financial reporting and transaction support. Collaborate across accounting advisory, modeling, credit risk, and audit teams to deliver integrated solutions; build and sustain client relationships; participate in business development; and mentor staff. Senior Manager responsibilities add risk and financial performance management of engagements, pricing and budgeting, cross-functional leadership, and participation in practice management initiatives. Required experience includes five years in financial advisory/valuation, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, ABV progress, and strong communication and analytical skills; preferred familiarity with CECL, large data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related quantitative field
- Minimum five years of recent experience in financial advisory and valuation within financial services or valuation practice
- Progress towards completion of Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential; one year grace period to obtain approved designation if not shown at start
- Experience with valuation of financial instruments and loan portfolios; familiarity with CECL or loan accounting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in teams; mentoring and developing staff
- Experience leading valuation engagements and managing client relationships
- Knowledge of cash flow modeling, loan portfolio analytics, and valuation inputs for financial reporting or transactions
- Experience with data processing and analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python) preferred
