Manager, Ophthalmology Operations - Ottawa

Job Summary
Lead operational coordination for ophthalmology clinic partnerships, including onboarding new providers, developing standardized workflows, and implementing program expansions. Serve as the central contact for physicians, clinic administrators, and internal teams to resolve workflow issues and manage stakeholder communications. Develop and monitor operational dashboards to track metrics on patient referrals, prescription flow, and partnership performance, while leading the logistics for Continuing Education events and educational initiatives. Coordinate with Patient Support Programs and reimbursement teams to ensure seamless specialty medication access and continuous therapy support.
Required Qualifications
- Postsecondary education in healthcare administration, business, operations, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinic coordination, specialty pharmacy, ophthalmology, or pharmaceutical program support
- Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with experience managing multiple stakeholders
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, clinic teams, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Patient Support Programs (PSPs), reimbursement navigation, specialty medications, or specialty pharmacy workflows considered an asset
- Experience coordinating projects, implementations, or new clinic partnerships is an asset
- Salesforce experience preferred
