Job Summary
Lead the area's 24/7/365 electric utility operations for the Frederick Service Center, managing a multi-functional unit comprised of MonPower & Potomac Edison Substations. Plan, organize, direct, and review activities throughout WV/MD Operations to ensure safe, reliable electricity delivery in compliance with regulatory, operational, procedural, and budgetary guidelines. Foster a high-performing safety culture, establish working relationships with peers and union leadership, and initiate safety and environmental safeguards to eliminate hazards. Serve as a member of the management team to develop goals, interpret collective bargaining agreements, and oversee budget control for personnel, materials, and construction. Coordinate response efforts and assist in emergency outage restoration processes while providing technical expertise to operational groups.
