Job Summary
Manager - Operations responsible for fulfillment & logistics operations execution, inventory and warehouse management, planning and execution, and distribution coverage by carrier management. Leads teams with employee lifecycle responsibilities including hire/fire decisions, coaching/mentoring, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Develops and implements business plans, sets direction in operational areas, and ensures effective policies and practices. Manages direct and indirect reports, prioritizes tasks, and drives for continuous improvements within Maersk's warehouse network (CFS, CY, inland depots, bonded warehouses) under a diverse, inclusive workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Previous work experience in a related area or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education
- Ability to manage employees day-to-day and set priorities to ensure task completion
- Experience with planning and execution in fulfillment & logistics operations
- Experience leading teams with employee lifecycle responsibilities (hire/fire, coaching/mentoring, performance appraisals, pay reviews)
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution across multiple warehouse types (CFS, CY, inland depots, bonded warehouses)
