Job Summary
Supervise all front-end staff and perform administrative tasks assigned by the store manager, overseeing daily workflow and leading corporate programs. Resolve customer service issues, complaints, or requests while ensuring consistent, efficient, and pleasant experiences. Assist with closing and opening duties, train staff on cash office procedures, and maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the front-end, bathrooms, and parking lot. Ensure all front-end supplies and ice are full. Recommend discipline or termination of employees in partnership with Store Management. Requires at least one year of retail experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and traverse all areas of the supermarket.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and managerial skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a retail environment, preferably in customer service, with increasing levels of responsibility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the supermarket
