Manager of Transportation Functions

Manage and provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the Lipari Foods private fleet, overseeing training for newly hired drivers on routes and night shuttles. Coordinate ongoing skills and safety training, ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation, Federal, State, and Local Regulations, and fully investigate accidents and injuries. Direct hiring, termination, counseling, and rewards for staff while traveling to satellite depots to conduct evaluations. Prioritize daily tasks and resources to identify cost-savings, implement equipment and maintenance solutions, and improve transportation processes. Requires a CDL Class A license, at least one year of combined training or experience, and two years of transportation management experience. Starting pay is $90,000 per year with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K match, paid vacations, a company car, and cell phone allowance.
