Job Summary
Collaborate with educational and administrative teams to develop, facilitate, and maintain professional development materials covering instruction, curriculum, assessment, and evidence-based practices. Provide workshops, coaching, and implementation support while partnering with leadership to identify and execute schoolwide professional learning needs. Meet regularly with new and developing educators to deliver classroom observations, feedback, and consultation that strengthen instructional practices and support IEP development and data-driven decision making. Assist teachers in implementing behavior supports and assist classroom teams in creating structured, engaging learning environments aligned with student needs. Monitor teacher licensure progress, maintain certification records, and connect staff with resources for Massachusetts licensure and individualized growth plans. Ensure services are delivered in a respectful, person-centered manner while supporting the school's strategic plan and organizational priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
- MA licensure in Moderate Disabilities, Severe Disabilities, or a related area
- Minimum of three years' experience working with autistic students or students with complex learning needs
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, other Microsoft Office software, and Google Suite
Desired Qualifications
- MA Administrator License preferred
- Experience providing instructional coaching, teacher mentoring, or professional development
