Job Summary
Develop and execute a sourcing strategy prioritizing local, seasonal, and regenerative suppliers to advance sustainability and ingredient quality. Build long-term partnerships with mission-aligned producers while negotiating best-in-class pricing, contracts, and rebates to protect margins. Own the end-to-end supply chain for the New York market, managing commodity risks, secondary sourcing, and food cost performance through strategic vendor agreements. Lead the commercialization of new ingredients and packaging solutions, ensuring successful operational implementation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with the Toronto team on enterprise strategies while driving profitability and waste reduction initiatives across the restaurant.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, procurement, or product commercialization within foodservice, restaurants, grocery, or CPG
- Proven success negotiating supplier agreements and food costs while maintaining quality and service
- Experience sourcing fresh ingredients, managing supplier relationships, and supporting new product launches
- Strong understanding of food cost management, inventory systems, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong negotiation, commercial, and supplier relationship management skills
- Analytical mindset with experience using purchasing, inventory, and financial data to drive decisions
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with inventory or procurement systems (COGS-Well is an asset)
