Job Summary
Manage, organize, and collaborate with administration to provide safe, secure, and confidential testing environments. Solicit and tabulate testing material needs for the annual budget, then receive, inventory, and disseminate state-mandated tests while arranging pickup and retrieval from agencies. Prepare rosters, coordinate accommodations, and establish quiet placements for student testing. Communicate with parents and teachers to coordinate success, notify families of upcoming tests, and investigate results to improve in-classroom tactics. Assist staff with data analysis, delivery, and report preparation for leadership and the School Report Card. Collaborate with authorizing staff to ensure assessment accountability success. Work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining goodwill, requiring own transportation and ability to travel for testing events.
Required Qualifications
- Tennessee Teacher or Administrator Certification, or the ability to get one within 30 days of hire
- At least one year of experience in operations and logistics (includes school assessment logistics) and/or administrative or management experience in the education field
- Ability to accurately compile and interpret data, summarize information, and provide reports to the appropriate administrator/supervisor
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, interruptions, and the ability to deal with other employees in such a way as to maintain their goodwill
- Knowledge of State Assessment & Accountability Systems
- Solid knowledge of IEPs, Specialized Learning Plans (504, ILPs, ILP-Ds) and related services to the extent needed to organize and implement student testing accommodations
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office and Google products)

- Must be able to provide own transportation to schools, work locations, and meeting sites
- Ability to travel for marketing, professional development, and state testing events (may require overnight travel)
- Ability to travel to the school's central office regularly, no less than monthly (may require overnight travel)
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English both orally and in writing
- Standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, more than 25 pounds are often required
- Must have sufficient visual acuity to be able to work with computer monitors, read and interpret handwritten documents
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have the ability to maintain accurate records, and plan and implement appropriate educational programs
- Must be able to respond positively to supervision and to accept commendations and recommendations
- Demonstrate sensitivity/understanding in interpersonal relations with persons of diverse cultures/backgrounds
