Manager of Rapid Deployment

Job Summary
Lead and manage a pod of Deployment Engineers and/or Security Solution Engineers (SIEM/SOAR) in a hands-on, player-coach role. Directly oversee deployments, coordinate with the Project Manager to prioritize requests based on capacity and urgency, own delivery metrics (go-live timelines, deployment capacity, content coverage), and drive team processes. Provide mentorship and conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions. Requires 5+ years in technical roles with 2+ years in people management; hands-on proficiency with Google SecOps and/or Microsoft Sentinel; experience in deployment pipelines and customer onboarding workflows; strong communication and collaboration skills; Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience); certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Google Cloud Professional, AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years in technical roles (SIEM deployment, content engineering, or similar) with 2+ years in people management
- Hands-on proficiency with Google SecOps and/or Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience managing deployment pipelines and customer onboarding workflows
- Strong project coordination skills; comfortable triaging competing priorities alongside a Project Manager
- Experience developing and maintaining technical runbooks and deployment playbooks
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and directly contribute to complex technical work
