Job Summary
Quality leadership for a Delhi, NY food manufacturing plant: oversee all QA/QC programs, lead audits (internal, third-party, regulatory), drive data-driven continuous improvement, and manage a team of QA/QC professionals including technicians, auditors, and supervisors. Develop and enforce QA/QC protocols and inspection standards; analyze production data, investigate deviations, lead CAPAs; ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, SQF, FSMA, FDA, USDA, GMPs, and sanitation SOPs. Partner with production, R&D, and supply chain to embed quality across all stages; lead recall readiness planning and crisis response; deliver training on food safety and continuous improvement; support personnel processes and cross-functional collaboration; possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in management of a food manufacturing, quality, or process-related roles
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and audit protocols
