Manager of Project Accountant

Job Summary
Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across multiple projects and legal entities; lead a project accounting team of 2-3; manage North America project revenue and consolidate global revenue; ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition, cost tracking, and project margin analysis; own monthly close for project accounting and prepare financial reporting packages; collaborate with operations to enforce cost controls, change orders, WIP, and backlog integrity; support external auditors and provide regular updates to project leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience
- 5+ years of work experience in project accounting and/or cost control
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition per ASC 606 and project financial lifecycle and controls
- Advanced Excel skills is required
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint, etc.) preferred
