Job Summary
Manager of Preschool V leads a team of Service Coordinators delivering person-centered services to preschool children ages 3-6 with developmental disabilities. The role provides strategic leadership, coaching and supervision, assigns caseloads, conducts monthly meetings, ensures policy compliance, oversees performance evaluation, and supports advocacy and educational services. Collaboration with Head Start programs, SELPAs, school districts, and community agencies is essential. The position involves approvals of expenditures, participation in committees, after-hours on-call coverage, occasional field visits, and a primarily sedentary office environment. Requirements include a Master of Social Work (or related field) with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, plus supervisory experience and strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills.
Required Qualifications
- A master's degree in social work or related field and three years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities; or a bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience.
- A combination of training and supervisory experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and abilities may also qualify.
