Job Summary
Partner with community-based organizations to improve care continuity and develop written materials for healthcare program promotions. Manage pediatric psychosocial behavioral health teams across inpatient, outpatient, and counseling settings by overseeing standards, guidelines, and protocols for cancer-impacted patients. Provide safe, therapeutic care while reviewing and revising care plans based on patient responses to ensure desired outcomes. Serve as the liaison for screening, diagnostic treatment, clinical trials, and support services, coordinating annual budgets and monitoring financial performance. Manage staff supervision, team relations, and development while monitoring patient satisfaction surveys and ensuring appropriate documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related fields
- A minimum of five years of progressive nursing/social work and/or supervisory experience with a particular focus on oncology patients
- Experience in coordinating community health programs
- Understanding of community healthcare systems, resources and data analysis methods
- Experience in clinical research
- Certification in area of specialty within specified timeframe, if required
- LPC, LCSW or licensed/eligible for RN License in Commonwealth of Virginia
- Full-time day shift from Mon-Fri
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- strong 5 years' experience post Masters working with child and adolescent behavioral health
- Licensed Social Worker/ Psychologist or Counselor
