Job Summary
Nurse Manager responsible for 24-hour management of Medical/Surgical Hospitalist unit (E3) in Albany, NY. Leads clinical staff, ensures delivery of high-quality patient care, and coordinates resources and operations. Plays a supervisory and mentorship role, supports staff development, and aligns unit performance with organizational mission and quality initiatives. Requires strong leadership, ability to manage resources, effective communication with patients, families, and staff, and adherence to HIPAA and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Upon Hire - required
- Previous experience managing teams with diverse skills and roles - required
- Master's Degree in Nursing - preferred
