Job Summary
Materials Manager responsible for scheduling, planning, and oversight of material procurement, production, and delivery. Develops and executes material plans, supports efficient material flows within the plant and with suppliers, and monitors inventory to meet service levels. Oversees release of materials, maintains PFEP and ERP/MRP records, and collaborates with customers and suppliers. Leads continuous improvement initiatives (Kata), manages inbound/outbound material activities, and ensures compliance with material control Systems and IATF16949. Requires strong communication, leadership, and ability to manage multiple projects, with travel as required. Travel: Yes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Materials Management, Finance, or Business Administration) required
- APICS certification preferred
- 7+ years Materials Management experience in the automotive industry
