Job Summary
Lead a team of security engineers and analysts in vulnerability management, incident detection and response, and identity and access management. Drive execution of multi-year security initiatives, partnering with senior stakeholders to develop information security policies, procedures, and plans. Evaluate security technologies and controls, leading implementation and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen the security posture. Spot root causes behind technical and operational problems, guiding your team toward sustainable solutions. This remote role requires 5+ years of hands-on information security experience and 2+ years leading security professionals. Salary ranges from $123,000 to $185,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in information security, with meaningful exposure across multiple domains such as vulnerability management, incident response, endpoint security, or identity and access management
- 2+ years of experience leading a team of security professionals, including hiring, coaching, performance management and career development
- Working experience securing both on-premises and cloud environments, with a solid understanding of cloud networking and operations concepts
- Demonstrated ability to communicate security risks and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience contributing to or executing security roadmaps, policies or programs in a growing or maturing organization
- Candidates must be able to work effectively in a distributed environment
- Candidates must be able to apply from anywhere in the U.S.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field
- CISSP or equivalent security certification
- 8+ years of experience in information security
- 5+ years of people management experience in a security or technology function
