Job Summary
Manager of Infrastructure Engineering leading Trader Voice infrastructure at JPMorganChase within Corporate Technology. You supervise and coach teams, drive delivery of Trading Voice services, and oversee engineering, monitoring, health checks, testing, and L3 troubleshooting. Responsibilities include certifying software releases, enforcing internal controls, meeting deadlines and SLAs, coordinating with external partners/vendors on change management and vendor Statements of Work, and escalation as needed. Requires formal infrastructure engineering training/certification and 5+ years leading Trader Voice engineering projects and teams; deep knowledge of Trader Voice systems, SIP/VoIP, virtualization, databases, Cisco telephony, MS Teams/Skype for Business, and ITIL/ITSM practices. The role emphasizes leadership, engineering delivery, and collaboration within a large financial institution.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience in Trader Voice Engineering and leading infrastructure engineering projects and teams
- Knowledge of Trader Voice systems (IPC systems, Hoots, Private Lines, Cloud9, etc.)
- Deep SIP protocol and VoIP telephony expertise
- Experience with virtualization (ESXi, KVM) in enterprise environments
- Database administration (MySQL, MS SQL)
- Understanding of CISCO telephony, MS Teams, Skype for Business
- Understanding of Private wires and Hoot Networks
- Experience across infrastructure engineering domains (hardware, networking, storage, deployment, automation, resilience)
- Proficient automation knowledge
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and customer-service skills
- Knowledge ofService Delivery methodologies (Agile, ITIL, ITSM)
- Experience in financial institutions preferred
