Job Summary
Oversee network operations, systems, and infrastructure by supervising the IT team, developing policies, and managing LAN/WAN, servers, and virtualization environments. Plan, install, configure, and maintain hardware and software while ensuring system integrity, security, and compliance with regulations. Resolve infrastructure problems, coordinate maintenance and upgrades for network servers, and provide technical recommendations to improve performance. Monitor network resources and carriers, develop disaster recovery plans, and assist in creating information security procedures. Complete assigned BVS courses and demonstrate core values of integrity, honesty, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, accountability, and strong relationships in all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Five to ten years of experience in IT network management, system administration, or a related field
- Ability to communicate with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in operating computer equipment and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and internal databases for record-keeping and communication
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment screen that includes verification of education, employment and other pertinent data included on your employment application, and eligibility to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment screen that includes a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment screen that includes a pre-employment credit check
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent experience and relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft MCSE, CISSP) may be considered in lieu of a degree
- At least five years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within IT preferred
