Job Summary
Lead the Housing Stability Counseling team, providing expert support in mortgage lending, foreclosure prevention, and homebuyer counseling to help clients achieve stable housing solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, human services, social work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage lending/processing, real estate, or housing counseling
- HUD certification (required or to be obtained within 3-6 months)
- Excellent case management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mortgage lending or processing
- Experience in housing counseling
- NeighborWorks (NWA) certification in Home Buyer, HECM, and Foreclosure Intervention counseling
- Strong knowledge of NJ foreclosure processes and mortgage loan programs
- Proficiency with CounselorMax, EmpowOR, HCS, Siroms, and Microsoft Office suite
