Job Summary
Develop program and curriculum design by analyzing current offerings to ensure effectiveness and relevance while remaining current on educational trends. Manage workforce training lab and classroom spaces, including planning enhancements, maintaining inventory, and tracking student metrics in Salesforce. Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and operations for weekly and monthly courses, assigning instructors and ensuring adequate staffing. Supervise a team of senior and workforce instructors, conducting performance evaluations and developing staffing plans. Enforce safety standards, maintain relationships with regulatory bodies like EPA and NCCER, and collaborate on soft skills training and job placement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five to seven years of experience in program management in an educational environment or leading teams
- Five years of teaching experience with STEM, climate action, and/or environmental sustainability
- Five years of experience with curriculum development
Desired Qualifications
- Master's preferred in education or related fields
- Classroom experience
- Knowledge of anti-racist and culturally responsive pedagogy
- Demonstrated ability to work in communities where diverse populations reside
- Demonstrated success in communicating with partner organizations and individuals to build and maintain strong partnerships
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Suite, including Calendar, Docs, Spreadsheet, and Drive
- Maturity and ability to work independently
