Job Summary
Identify and research grant opportunities from government, foundation, corporate, and institutional sources; coordinate pipeline planning and lead discussions on project readiness with leadership and program teams. Develop grant concepts, budgets, and implementation plans in partnership with Finance, while overseeing grant writing, reviewing, and editing to ensure timely, high-quality submissions. Maintain proposal calendars and tracking systems, manage contract/subcontract development, and serve as primary funder contact for proposal development, reporting, and compliance. Oversee post-award grants management, including audits, monitoring visits, and data collection for funder reports. Supervise grant development staff through coaching, training, and performance management, establishing systems to strengthen organizational grant capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business, communications, public health, social services, or a related field
- Experience managing complex public and private grant portfolios
- Experience supervising staff and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Experience utilizing and managing online grant portals
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel
