Job Summary
Coordinate with external tax providers for PCAOB and ASC 740 compliance in quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K SEC filings, while managing global tax return filings for domestic and foreign entities. Prepare reconciliations for income tax payable/receivable rollforwards, cash taxes, and deferred tax reporting across multiple legal entities, including valuation allowances and translation adjustments. Maintain US federal and state corporate tax returns covering SBC, GILTI/FDII, FTC, and R&D credits, and facilitate tax studies for transfer pricing, R&D credits, and 382 analysis. Research domestic and international regulations to document complex issues, prepare position memos, and correspond with tax authorities regarding audits and settlements. Run daily operations for the monthly/quarterly close, assist with M&A due diligence, and support tax planning initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Economics, Taxation, or another relevant field
- CPA designation
- At least four years of experience in tax provision and compliance
- At least two years in public accounting at a CPA firm
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (with an emphasis on Excel)
- Background with tax research tools such as Bloomberg Tax Research and CCH
Desired Qualifications
- In-house experience
- Experience with tax compliance tools such as OneSource, Corp Tax, Gosystem
- Familiarity with SALT, indirect tax
- Understanding of international tax, including GILTI, BEAT, FDII
- Background in life sciences or software/technology industry
