Job Summary
Manage multiple client relationships by reviewing financial statements, support schedules, and SBA compliance reporting for private equity funds. Coordinate capital call calculations, waterfalls, and partner capital accounts while partnering with auditors to ensure timely year-end audits. Coach and develop team members through performance feedback, technical training, and career planning. Lead client discussions to provide technical guidance on complex fund accounting matters and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. Review internal processes for efficiency and perform administrative tasks including document management and time tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Leadership experience in private equity, venture capital, private credit, or fund administration
- Strong understanding of partnership accounting, capital activity, waterfalls, allocations, and carried interest calculations
- Experience preparing or reviewing fund financial statements under US GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling techniques, and data analysis tools
- Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
- Experience delegating, training and supervising staff
- Experience managing client relationships
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- CPA
- Knowledge of SBIC accounting and SBA regulatory reporting
- Experience with fund accounting platforms such as Investran, Allvue, Geneva, or similar systems
