Job Summary
Manager of Financial Reporting (Remote) leading GAAP-based and Private Equity reporting efforts. This role requires transforming raw data from multiple entities into polished, board-ready narratives, including EBITDA Add-Back calculations, pro-forma analyses, and consolidation across portfolio entities. You will automate data flows from NetSuite ERP using Power Query, oversee annual audits with Deloitte, and partner with senior executives to explain the financial story behind metrics. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), PE reporting experience, advanced Excel skills, and a track record of integrating complex financials for PortCo environments. Expect high-visibility leadership, collaboration with the CFO/CEO/COO, and facilitating insights for PE sponsors and auditors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or progress toward CPA highly preferred
- Direct experience in Public Accounting or in managing complex PE reporting packages
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel
- Experience with EBITDA, pro-forma financials, and Add Backs
- Experience in a Private Equity Portfolio Company (PortCo)
- Ability to consolidate disparate balance sheets for consolidated reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) and Power Query for automated reporting
- Experience coordinating with external auditors (Deloitte) and PE sponsors
- Strong communication with CFO/CEO/COO and board-level stakeholders
- Ability to map historical data for two-year comparability financials
- Experience with Debt Covenant Compliance
- Experience presenting monthly financial packages to the PE board
- Experience modernizing legacy reporting processes
