Job Summary
Manager of Finance responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations for MatchCraft (Vendasta-owned) with cross-border activities in the U.S. and the Netherlands. Key duties include generating monthly client invoices using AI-supported data extraction, handling collections, supporting revenue recognition and billing schedules, managing accounts payable for MatchCraft LLC and MatchCraft BV, executing wire transfers to partners, embedding AI-driven reconciliation to ensure data integrity, coordinating month-end close with AI-powered checklists, collaborating with Vendasta’s Corporate Finance for consolidation, liaising with Dutch accountants for month-end close and VAT filings, coordinating with payroll providers, owning 1099 reporting, maintaining contractor records for IRS compliance, and identifying automation opportunities to improve core finance processes. Requires 5+ years in accounting/finance, international entity experience, cross-border tax/compliance knowledge, and proficiency with NetSuite/Excel; remote-work readiness across time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation (or working toward it) is an asset
- Experience supporting international entities/subsidiaries (US/Netherlands)
- Strong understanding of US and international accounting principles and tax compliance
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Ability to manage international vendor/contractor relationships and multi-currency transactions
- Proficiency with financial software (e.g., NetSuite, Excel; Google Sheets); bonus: Expensify, Stripe, Salesforce
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to implement AI-powered process improvements
- Comfortable working with remote stakeholders across time zones
- Familiarity with 1099 filing processes and international payroll coordination
- Experience operating in a high-autonomy, multi-entity finance environment
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
