Job Summary
Own end-to-end field program: strategy and execution of Engine's field marketing, including event selection, audience targeting and recruiting, content and run-of-show, on-site execution, pre/post-event follow-up, and pipeline reporting. Manage and develop a team of two while remaining hands-on as a senior IC. Collaborate with GTM leadership, AEs, and sales leaders to align event mix to pipeline targets and territory priorities. Execute traditional field events (dinners, sports activations, regional roadshows) and experimental activations (job-site visits, office drop-ins) with a test-and-learn mindset. Own partnerships with DMOs and regional travel partners, drive post-event attribution back to opportunities, and build a scalable field playbook. Bring strong analytical skills, ownership of cadence and measurement, and the ability to ship copy and sequences using AI tools; balance proven plays with experimental swings, and contribute to the growth of Engine’s field marketing program. The role supports a hybrid-hub model with options for in-office or fully remote work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation
- 1+ years managing a team or operating as a player-coach
- Deep field marketing experience: end-to-end calendar, pipeline targets, and program vs. event differentiation
- Strong AI execution: capable of shipping copy, lists, and follow-up sequences; AI tools integrated into workflows
- Sales partnership experience: working with AEs and sales leadership on account targeting and follow-through
- Analytical proficiency: Salesforce and BI tools, pipeline interrogation
