Job Summary
The Manager of Family and Health Services is responsible for achieving family outcomes that support children's school readiness and well-being within the PRIME TIME Head Start program. Key responsibilities include coaching Family Service team members, developing systems for family engagement, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, and maintaining quality improvement monitoring systems. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience, particularly in low-income communities. Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills are necessary, along with the ability to assess and implement evidence-based strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Family and Child Development, Social Work, or related field
- 3+ years experience in the family and community engagement field
- At least 3 years experience working with diverse families in low income communities, with supervisory responsibilities
- Expertise in community based interventions to improve outcomes for low-income families and communities
- Background and experience executing evidence-based strategies to strengthen outcomes for children and families
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in national family engagement models preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to successfully implement program plans
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Maintain certification in CPR and First Aid
- Physical exam and background checks are required for this position
