Job Summary
Oversee and supervise the maintenance team to ensure around-the-clock operation of the Melrose Park facilities, uphold safety standards and building codes, and ensure a secure, functional environment for employees and guests. Responsibilities include interviewing and training new staff, conducting performance evaluations, coaching and disciplining per union procedures, performing routine inspections of building components, coordinating with program directors on facility needs, assisting in preventative maintenance planning, managing work tickets, and implementing workplace safety policies and incident follow-ups. Requires a bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related area (or equivalent experience), at least two years of team-management experience, and a valid driver’s license. Skills include knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, strong communication, project and task management, data analysis, and the ability to work independently and professionally with diverse teams.
Required Qualifications

- minimum of two (2) years’ experience managing teams
