Manager of Cultureware Production and Facilities

Job Summary
Lead daily Cultureware Production operations and define production schedules aligned with cost, quality, and time targets; oversee procurement of raw materials, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and maintenance of production machinery; train and mentor staff for safe, compliant operations; manage facility systems (HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, lab equipment) per Quality Control guidelines; coordinate lab space build-out and repurposing; serve as Vice Chairman of Safety Committee, institute Hazard Communication Policy, and address OSHA deficiencies; conduct annual fire safety training and manage eye wash stations and safety showers; reduce facility costs by optimizing contractor use and in-house repairs; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in Cultureware Production and Facilities Operations in regulated biotech/manufacturing; OSHA 10 certification; strong communication and organizational skills; committed to Sustainability, Openness, and Enjoyment; offers a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on onboarding and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Cultureware Production and Facilities Operations within a regulated manufacturing or biotech environment
- OSHA 10 certification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
