Job Summary
Serve as the primary escalation point for operational and technical issues, including after-hours support. Oversee the development, maintenance, and support of core financial systems to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability. Monitor system health, drive automation, and establish workflows to prioritize enhancements and defect resolution while maintaining SLAs. Collaborate with business units on conversions, migrations, and integrations, and evaluate new technologies to support infrastructure strategy. Maintain disaster recovery readiness and assist with annual budgeting and regulatory compliance. Provide guidance and mentoring to directly reporting staff while cultivating strong team relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems or development roles
- Knowledge of core banking systems
- Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties
- Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or credit union environment preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
- Excellent organization, prioritization and analytical skills to effectively manage areas of responsibility and attain organizational goals
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems or situations
- Ability to positively influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
- Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures
