Job Summary
Manager of College Readiness develops and executes a strategic approach to guiding scholars toward college and career readiness. Works with the Director of College Readiness and RTCC leaders to coach campus-based Academic Counselors, Road to College Career staff, teachers, counselors, and deans; delivers professional development and coaching on graduation planning, credit recovery, early warning, and executive skills; maintains and analyzes college readiness data (GPA, credit tracking, standardized test scores) using district tools (Naviance, PowerSchool, Failing Grades Dashboard) and reports to campus leaders and CMO staff; supports district-wide CCMR strategy, data management, campus supports, and multiple cross-functional projects (e.g., summer school, master scheduling, CTE, data dashboards); collaborates with the Director of Family Engagement and RTCC teams to coordinate college readiness workshops; requires travel district-wide and occasionally nationally; starting salary $65,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./ B.S.) from a four-year college or university required
- Master's Degree is preferred
- Knowledge of and experience using the Texas Educational Codes
- Previous 9th-12th grade educational experience highly desirable
- Ability to develop relationships and work closely with school leaders, families, and district leadership
- Bilingual in English/Spanish desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel) and familiarity with Naviance, PowerSchool (including PowerScheduler), Tableau, Shmoop, Aware, G-Suite, Canva, Qualtrics desirable
