Manager of Breeding Center

Job Summary
Oversee the daily operations of the University Breeding Center, including managing the breeding program, supervising students and student staff, collaborating with equine faculty, and maintaining facilities and grounds. Promote a positive image of the breeding industry to students, the university, the public, and guests. Provide hands-on leadership in student learning through laboratory exercises and ensure compliance with required clearances. Requires ability to drive a truck and large horse trailer, a valid driver's license, strong communication and organizational skills, and experience in breeding operations. Based in Doylestown, PA with occasional travel; typical on-site responsibilities and outdoor work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Previous breeding industry and barn manager experience
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to safely drive truck and large horse trailer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
